  • 16 large white button mushrooms
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushroom caps with a damp cloth; remove and finely chop the stems.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped stems and minced garlic for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked stems and garlic with cream cheese, crab meat, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the filling.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving, garnishing with additional parsley if desired.
