  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side. Add butter to baste and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and milk, then add cream cheese until smooth. Mix in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses along with a pinch of Cajun seasoning.
  4. Combine cooked penne with the creamy sauce and return seared steak to skillet. Warm gently before serving.
